What Is GPA?
GPA stands for Grade Point Average. It is a standardized way of measuring academic achievement across courses and semesters. In the most widely used system, letter grades are converted into numerical "grade points" and then averaged based on the weight (credit hours) of each course. The result is a single number, typically between 0.0 and 4.0, that represents your overall academic performance.
Universities use GPA to determine academic standing, scholarship eligibility, honor roll inclusion, and admission into graduate programs. GPA kya hoti hai? — It is simply an average of your course grades, weighted by credit hours.
